ITINERARY

8 AUGUST 2018 – COPENHAGEN

Fairy-tale architecture and avant-garde modern designs create an enchanting atmosphere in Scandinavia’s largest city. Copenhagen’s quality of life is exceptional, with countless green spaces and bicycle paths—offering you every opportunity to take in the culture and cuisine of the City of Spires.

9 AUGUST 2018 – WARNEMUNDE (BERLIN), GERMANY

Then it’s off to the German port of Warnemünde and let the romance begin. A stone’s throw away from the 800-year-old Hanseatic city of Rostock, Warnemünde is a beautiful seaside town on the Baltic. Wander the Alter Storm boardwalk, climb to the top of the lighthouse, or take the train into Berlin and visit the Brandenburg Gate, designed as a triumphal arch for Kaiser Wilhelm II. A late stay means a visit to the Prater Garten, the oldest beer garden in the city. It survived the bombings of both world wars so it can handle a wild night! Der Alte Strom is awash in restaurants offering traditional fare, while the Warnemünde Lighthouse offers incredible views of the Baltic.

FRIDAY 10 & SATURDAY 11 AUGUST 2018 – GDANSK, POLAND

The 1,000-year-old port city of Gdańsk was mostly destroyed during WWII, but there are still many impressive sights. Wander through cobblestone streets and mazes of red-brick buildings to discover the Upland Gate, St. Mary’s Church, the medieval Gdańsk Crane, the Great Arsenal, and the Amber Museum and National Museum. Then relax at a beer garden and take in the beautiful coastline.  How about visiting the Grand Hotel in Sopot where movie stars Omar Sharif and Marlene Dietrich have stayed?

 SUNDAY 12 AUGUST 2018 – CRUISING

Spend the day sailing in style aboard your boutique hotel at sea. Indulge in a treatment at Sanctum Spa, stay ship shape with a class at our fitness center, or lounge the day away on our sunny pool deck.

In the evening, savor inspired Italian cuisine at Aqualina, or relish in a classic steakhouse experience at Prime C. Plus, you’ll find plenty of exciting evening entertainment, from thrilling shows at Cabaret Lounge to intimate performances in the Living Room.

MONDAY 13 AUGUST 2018 – TALLINN, ESTONIA

Embrace the wonderfully independent spirit of Tallinn. During your visit, take a walk up Toompea hill for a lovely view of Tallinn’s diverse skyline and architecture. Then, visit St. Olav’s Church, believed to have been the world’s tallest building…in 1625. From here, you’re not far from St. Catherine’s Passage, where you’ll discover many delightful craft workshops to explore.

TUESDAY 14 & WEDNESDAY 15 AUGUST 2018 – ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA

St. Petersburg is filled with experiences of all kinds, and two overnights mean you can have them all. Affectionately referred to as the Venice of the North, St. Petersburg is home to an incredibly diverse array of architecture. From golden domed churches to opulent palaces, St. Petersburg is certain to leave you in awe. In particular, don’t miss the Winter Palace, located within the Hermitage complex, one of the world’s largest museums and home to more three million works of art and artifacts! And don’t miss a classic ballet performance.

THURSDAY 16 AUGUST 2018 – HELSINKI, FINLAND

Helsinki is a successful blend of traditional and modern architecture and design, interwoven with the beauty of nature, and a few quirky, purely Finnish touches—such as a church built inside a giant chunk of granite. Popular attractions include the Ateneum Art Museum, Esplanade Park, Design District Helsinki, Market Square, and Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

FRIDAY 17 AUGUST 2018 – STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Experience the best of northern charm in Stockholm. A perfect balance of green space, Scandinavian architecture, and enchanting palaces, Stockholm is the perfect city to relax and explore. Start in Gamla Stan—the city’s oldest section—for a glimpse at how life used to be. Then, make your way to SoFo for delicious meals and specialty shopping. And don’t forget to check out the ABBA Museum!
